Who We Are
About Us
Alliance for Resilience Organization (AFRO) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization operating across Africa, with official registration in the United Republic of Tanzania and expanding representation across 16 African countries. The organization also maintains international representation in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, and Canada.
AFRO was established through the shared vision of professionals, researchers, innovation leaders, sustainability advocates, and institutional stakeholders committed to strengthening resilient communities and advancing sustainable socio-economic transformation.
The organization serves as a platform for sustainable development cooperation, strategic partnerships, diplomacy engagement, innovation, policy collaboration, institutional strengthening, and inclusive development initiatives. Its work is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), African Union Agenda 2063, Agenda 2030, and other international development frameworks.
AFRO collaborates with governments, civil society organizations, academic institutions, private sector entities, development agencies, youth and women-led initiatives, and international partners to promote resilience, inclusive growth, innovation, and sustainable development across Africa and beyond.
